Well hit the Orange County, CA. beaches July 4th night. I found over $10.00 in change, 1 silver bangle bracelet, 1 ladies watch still working, 3 silver hoop earings, 2 silver rings with colored stones, 2 gold rings, 1 was yellow gold with rose gold roses, the other mans 14k white gold band, then using my Minelab Excal, 1 man wallet containing ID and credit cards, cash from some guy from Utah, I mailed it back to him later, I then dug a strange signal. In my scoop was a paperclip holding a new condom in the foil package and also $244.00 CASH. 
. I guess the guy you lost it really did not get lucky, but I sure did, what a great holiday weekend. The ring with the purple/white stone is silver, the other ring with 4 small yellowish stones is also silver, the other 2 are gold, 14K white gold on the plain band. CASH totals: $110.00 in $5 dollar bills, $100 in twenty dollar bills and $34.00 in one dollar bills for a grand total of $244.00. I threw out the condom.
