Primary Interest:
All Treasure Hunting
I went out 3 times this weekend... nothing but gas money and a little silver...

17 Quarters (11 in one day)
17 Dimes
9 Nickles (all in one soccer field) no other nickles the other 2 days... weird huh
42 Lincoln Pennies (32 were found at a 1920's established college no wheats another oddity)
17 zinc pennies (yes I separate them and will find a use for them someday!)

1 1964D Silver Quarter
I loved how I recovered this one... I stuck my digger in the ground and pried up and with a splash of dirt flying everywhere I see the sparkle of SILVER! It was the best recovered target of the weekend!

1 1964D Silver Dime
1 car wash token

and a double hand full of spent brass cartridges... at $2.20 a LB I'll pick theses up all day long!

Now for all you people thinking thats not much clad... think again... around here these coins are found 1 to 6 inches deep in HARD soil... try digging that many targets in an 8 hour period and then tell me its not that much! Yes each one was a separate target.

Re: July 4th Weekend finds... nothing special in here no need to look...

recovering that silver made it
a worthwhile day of detecting !!
Some days I feel like im digging
in concrete instead of dirt !
