i found this item today. it is a large and dimensional pendant. its construction (electroform sterling silver over a resin core) is typical of israeli work, so i am pretty sure this is an isreali piece.
my question is, is it a specific person or character, given its origin perhaps something from jewish mythology or folklore? it seems to depict an old and not particularly happy looking fellow with knitted brows, a frown, and a deeply lined face.
