Joining in from NC

Hey everyone. I've been reading your posts for awhile and decided it was time to join in. I live on the outskirts of Wilmington, NC near Wrightsville Beach. I started detecting in the mid-80's. Mostly cw relics but taking an interest in doing more beach detecting also. I've used a 1266X since 92 and it's still going strong but I'm looking for other machines now. Anyway it's good to officially be a part of the group here.

ah, home of the CSA Sword foundry. I see you use the Nautilus. I had one at one time but my Fisher was so much easier for me and I just didn't take the time to learn the DMC so I ended up selling it. Do you hunt mostly relics? It's nice to have someone close by!

Yeah, Hunters, I mostly hunt relics. I use the Nautilus in areas that are virtually trash free and the targets are deep. I mostly use the AT Pro now, I have had really good luck with it. I have done a little beach hunting and some coin shooting around old houses. There should be some good relics to be found between us in Pender County.
