Hello,
I’ve seen some posts looking for John Murrells old house in Denmark Tn.
I live in it. I am told it’s where his family lived while he was in prison (I’ve heard mother, wife and kids, or both). The original cabin is now the kitchen. The property was later acquired and added on to by a doctor to become a civil war hospital. There’s a blood stain permanently soaked into one of the floors in what’s now my living room. The neighbors also say Jesse James spent a few nights in the basement with his horse hiding from the law. Side note, there’s a moonshine still on the back of the property that was a moonshine still in the 1950’s (from dates on soda/whiskey bottles back there) Outlaw haunt for a lot of years… Haven’t hunted here yet but plan to. Any info on any of these potential hunts would be appreciated.
