Hello fellow t-netters! I rarely ever post and when I do it is under Fast Dave's name. Today I found such a dandy ring I felt compelled to share the discovery. I was detecting a sandy area of a lake in Northern Wisconsin today in the wind and rain and I got the usual pull tab signal on my White's Spectrum xlt. My girlfriend said the water was down a bit due to a few low water years. The dept was four and a half inches. As you can see, I dug a ring and figured it must be fake. Until today I haven't found a diamond ring. But what a ring! Here is what I know so far: the diamonds are real, the center diamond is three quarters of a karat, the cut of the stone is older, the setting is older and I am going to have the ring appraised by a professional next week. I am ecstatic over this find! As soon as I find out what the appraisal is, I will share that too. Good luck everybody and take care! Jim.
