Found this in a buch of old jewely items. First thought was this was an earring but doesn't look like one. The half sphere ball is hollow with two holes and 3 small loops on top. Ball has hinge that leads to a lever that has 3 small holes and is curved. Any ideas
Interesting, does it have moving parts? Looks like it might be a reengineered (mickey moused) ear ring/doohickey. Honestly I have no clue. I can't wait to find out.
The curved lever w the 3 holes is riveted and is movable. Between the ball and lever section is hinged like an earring but opens and stops larger than what would fit an ear that's why I don't think this is an earring. Test was negative for silver. No hallmarks...
