I found a new farm/home site on Historic Aerials that was demolished sometime after 1979. It shows on the earliest aerial picture in 1931 so I figured there's a good chance it goes back into the 1800's. I swung over a small pile 8x10 feet that looked like it had been pushed during demo. These piles are usually full of pebble, gravel, and small metal junk but I dug out the 3 coins! They were not deep since they had been pushed with the pile. The Nova Caesarea and the draped bust were easy to ID but the 3rd coin is complete toast both sides as is usually the case for NJ soil and coppers. The NJ coppers were only minted in 1786 and '87. I don't know if all states at the time were minting their own but I've seen Connecticut coppers here on TNet. Also found the 3 fired rounds, 2 hole button, spoon, umbrella/parasol piece, wheat, and a decorative metal piece. HH
