They were made in the 1950's....very popular as well as Jema horses,fish,lions,etc.

I have seen a few of these figures on eBay, usually attributed as c. 1940's or 50's. Some show the panther on a fallen tree trunk; others, with a clock. In fairly recent listings, starting bids were in the $40-60 range; however, the items remained unsold.
