I took my Dad, an ol' Kentuckian to the hospital for a procedure. While getting checked in the nurse remarked, "Jefferson?! That's an unusual first name."
My Dad admitted that there weren't very many, although people just call him Jeff. "It's an old family name," he said, "My Father had the name, and also my Great Grandfather."
"Oh, named after the President?" asked the nurse?
"Yes. The president of the Confederacy." he answered.
Her stare was completely blank, although it brought a huge smile to my face!
