Jaw and point identification

Found portion of small mammal jaw bone with teeth. It is so fragile it crumbles when I touch it. Any idea what it is and how old something like this may be? Found about 3 feet underground in Texas.

Also shown is a point found at the same location. Can anyone help with identifying this point? Can’t seem to find it in my book.

My guess is deer. Although I have no idea on the size of it.

I find it interesting that Tnet still identifies you as a 'New Member', even though you registered 6 years ago.

Seems it would need to be tested to find the Animal it belonged too can only guess with a pic
