I tend to avoid women's jeans because they are usually not worth much but I spotted these at GW(as noted by the nice blue marker on the label), does anyone know anything about these jeans? The only english is what you see on the label.

If you can wait a couple of days I can ask my wife to translate.
Hand made? I hope the stitching on the jeans is better than that on the red/white label.
I do not know why the red label is there because it says the same thing as the other label.

It's a crapshoot because I don't know the brands.

There are designer denim companies in Japan, turning out jeans that retail for several hundred dollars a pair.

Then there are companies that sell in the mall, with Japanese brand names and labels, to appeal to mainstream for maybe $50 a pair.

But there is a huge market for good Japanese denim, if you know what that is...

They are very well made jeans, I found out what they are. And are in fact men's jeans. I'll see what I do do with them 28w men's jeans are a hard sell.

I talked to my wife this weekend and she says the writing is Chinese. Japanese and Chinese use a lot of the same alphabet but one can't read the other (like English and French)

Maybe the company in the city of Osaka (long ways south of Tokyo) picked a Chinese brand name.
