Can not believe this weather. Did not expect to use this ctx 3030 until Spring. Hit the old County Poor Farm today, now a Park Thought I would get some hours on it , with lots of targets, so I went where the carnival is during the 4-H fair. This is an old site (1860's) Poor Farm. Suprise....Dug this 1857 Half Cent, from The Bank of Upper Canada. This is my second one of these......both holed. 12 inches deep in a Fair Grounds that gets hammered year after year. Man I am sure liking this detector 191613365283.jpg0106191218.jpg0106191220.jpg

Thanks Tommy. Glad I got to get about 40 or so hours in the field this time of the year in Michigan.

Hmmm, that coin looks awful familiar, looks like something I have seen before.:tongue1:

Glad you were able to get out! :occasion14:

Nice find. Congrats. Glad you’re enjoying the 3030. Great machine.

Nice find! Looks like times haven't changed in 150 years, we just can't keep those Canadians out.

Just kidding, no offense intended. :laughing7:

Very neat find. Any specific tweaks you made to get that depth with the CTX? Well done!

Thanks.... I have been running Dr. Tones coin program that is in Andy's book, and have it set up for combined in 4 tones. I did some universal setting changes that were on the Minelab videos

Clicked on this expecting a Flying Eagle...lol...I've never seen this coin before..
