Had a friend who lived in Lynnhaven Bay Inlet area; have taken Witch Duck Road into Norfolk MANY times... "fave" bookstore of my early youth & several in Va. Beach... including A.R.E. "Sea Rise" AND "Land Sink-age" was the cause of terrain change in the Cape Henry/Ft. Story/Lynn Haven Bay/Inlet area. When I visited, went to a "Church"/Gathering "on the Beach; they used a Sitar for Service. After "Service", I would play that Sitar... VERY "haunting" sounds; GREAT Meditation Music... Ommmnnn. LOVE Ravi Shankar & seen him in concert in Maryland (and George Harrison).
