Hit a sale this morning and paid $45 for this Atmos clock. It has some tarnish on the brass and the front glass is chipped. Other than that it's running like a swiss clock should. The lady also had some coins, but she said they were still packed away, so i'll stop back by tomorrow when she can dig them out. Her and her husband buy storage units and sell stuff really cheap. From the serial number the clock looks to be a 1979 model. On the bay they look like they go for around $500-800, but i'm keeping it. DSC_0003.JPGDSC_0011.JPGDSC_0009.JPGDSC_0007.JPG

Sold 1 on fee bay a few years ago for 600.00, mine was a older 1 in perfect cond. i shipped it to canada------nice buy

Nice find. Atmos clocks always do well.

Nice clock! I picked up mine for 50.00 with no idea what it was worth. 3 years later, it's still my favorite clock and hardly loses, if any, time.

They can go inaccurate due to a leak in the gas charged bellows so level it perfectly and keep an eye on it for a few days. They require a 2 degree minimum temp change in order for the chain driven auto winding mech to operate smoothly. Keep it in a room that will experience that change during the day

Nice find. There's one at my local TS for the past three weeks. They are asking $899.99, it's not even running and the top glass portion is cracked. Fixing these clocks can be expensive. What are they thinking?
