I recently bought a rock collection somebody was selling on a yardsale site. They didn't have any of the rocks labeled so I have been trying to figure out exactly what theyes are. I have good guesses but I am no geologist so I want more experienced opinions to confirm them. So expect alot of posts from me im sorry lol tell me to stop if im overloading

Hi Kat, and welcome to the site...:hello:

Not sure on the ID, but as a suggestion you can put all the
stones into a single thread. I can assure you it won't get missed...:icon_thumright:

could be, but there are a lot of green rocks...even jade could be either jadeite or nephrite...

Is it soft or hard? Use a pocket knife blade and scratch the rock, if it leaves a scratch mark, it's not jade. However, if the rock isn't scratched, but the mark is off the steel on of the knife blade, then it's more than likely jade. That said, I don't think jade comes with iron pyrite in it.
