J.W. Fisher's (our sponsor)

I called J.W. Fisher's yesterday and requested a "Search Team Newsletter" and wanted to let everyone know how friendly the are there.
They are also a sponsor of the "Shipwreck Forum" and everyone should check out their site. They are a great group and really spoke highly of Marc and TreasureNet.
Just wanted to give my two cents.

This may be a dumb comment but I'm a newbie so you have to exspect this? ;)

I think this Fisher you're refering to is the metal detector company? Anyway, I just wanted to mention that I know a professional treasure hunting group who hunt ancient sites and find $$$$ major artifacts. One of the main men once told me that Fisher detectors are the machines of choice for them. They mentioned the "CZ" models for land hunting. They also mentioned a detector called an "Explorer" or something like that.

I don't own a Fisher myself but have been thinking about getting one.

1-2-3,
Sorry, I didn't clarify the difference in the two.
Check out the link GoldFever provided above.

I called J.W. Fishers last Saturday and Jack Fisher himself answered the phone! He was very helpful.

For what it's worth, I have dealt with JW Fishers in the past and they have by far the best customer support I have ever seen. They were very helpful in getting our Pulse 12 interfaced with the GPS and laptop. I also own a Pulse 8x which I find to be a great metal detector.
