I've got a $10 bill with an apostrophe! I've seen someone on here in 2013 with a dollar bill. Wonder if it's worth anything for this error i suppose?

Hey guys, I seem to remember a thread a couple months ago someone asked about this, but searched and couldn't find it. Has anyone found the significance? The app isn't letting me add a pic but the serial number is D 71653119'C

At the bottom right serial number at the end of the numbers

OH wait, so you mean the one in the serial number? Generally speaking, S/N's can be anything someone assigns to them. Who's to say it's an error?

Could be right but then again this is the 2nd one I've ever seen and can't seem to find anything except the post from 2013. Surely not common so my assumption was and is maybe it's an error i dont really know. What's the likelihood that you'll ever see this again?

Only way to know for sure is to find someone who,s a bonafide expert on these things and see.I don,t know how to do that,maybe peruse the websites of some paper money collectors.

Perhaps it was added for artistic license? Thinking no one will notice? Now I'll be looking at paper cash to see if there are apostrophe's added.
