It's Still Out There
It must still be out there because I haven't been taking any of it in lately.
2 road trips through small/rural towns; 143 miles; 17 banks; $1873.50 in halves ($790 in MWR, $410 in CWR, $650 loose from coin counting machines, $23.50 from Teller Trays)
1967 Kennedy
1968D Kennedy
1958 Australian Florin (50% Silver, 0.1818 oz. ASW)
1995 5 Danish Kroner ($0.89 exchange to USD)
From two of the banks, I bought loose coin right off of the coin counting machine. Both said they didn't remember the half bag ever filling. Each time, I was expecting the luck I'd had with coin bags before. One of those was $210 in skunk. The other was a single '68D and the two foreign coins out of $440. That bag had the dirtiest coins I've ever hunted.
Sadly, the Florin had been abused. Otherwise, it was the find of the month for me.
