today we had cold and frozen ground. I still went out for 2 hours mainly to ty out my new Sorrell boots (they worked great). Found 2 good keepers in the frozen tundra. First was a 1906 IHP from 8'. Then I got a dime signal that read 7.5" on my Sport. With the 12 x 15 coil I knew it would be deeper. At 9" I finally pin pointed it in the middle of the hole. Turned out to be one of the best if not best looking Barber dimes I ever dug. It's a 1908 S and shows very little wear and still a bit of luster, Thanks for looking and Happy Hunting to all

That Barber dime is amazing. I love the Barber designed coins.

That's gorgeous! Nice work!!! 🙌

Beautiful Barber dime! :occasion14:

That is one heck of a coin! Congratulations!

Very nice! just another coin to add to next years to do list.:tongue3:

RE: It's ok to be nuts if it pays off. MackDog if that were all true I'd have been a billionaire long ago! LOL!

A truly beautiful find, congrats! Nice cleanup and photo as well!

Best wishes and many happy returns!

Guess I'm a little nuts right along with you. Was out in 20 degree weather here in Illinois last weekend. Great looking Barber dime.

Congrats on the finds and sticking it out in the weather.

Can't beat Sorrell boots in this cold weather especially with poor circulation. That beautiful dime looks like it has had little circulation. Nice going.

That is a beauty! Congrats:icon_thumleft:

I've been out in some very cold weather, 18 degrees with the wind blowing about 30 mph. Congrats on your nice finds

Great finds!

W0W .. That dime is gorgeous! That toasted Injun will probably clean up nicely..looks like it still has lots of detail under that crud!
