It's just not about how many, is it.

It was really just too blamed hot to do ANYTHING today. Let alone go digging in the sun. So, I decided, I'd go to a local favorite spot. The spot I call my Wheatie field. ;) (I've uncovered more than 100 wheat cents in this small little area and I know it's been hunted! )

Anyway, I planned to just go to areas where I knew I could hunt in the shade. :) I started at this one old tree, digging anything even remotely like a good target. Hunted for just about 3 hours. (even in the shade, that was an accomplishment! ) Funny thing is, I planned on moving along shade lines, from tree to tree. But, I stayed the entire 3 hours under just one tree! LOL It completely fascinates me just how many pieces of metal can be found under just ONE tree!!! LOL

I won't bore you with all the junk. There was a LOT of that, but the quality of the keepers was why I keep this one as a favorite go to spot.

My lil mascot insists that the two little things are "bling" but they look like small washers to me. They are shiny though and not magnetic. :dontknow: :)

The "neck piece" was just a small disappointment, but ask me if I care. LOL

Thanks for peeking!

That nickel is in sweet shape! Nice job!

Nice Finds... Congrats :icon_thumright: Something else from one tree!

It does make one think. All under one tree AND, the biggest thing is that it's been hunted, several times! How do I know? I have even crossed this tree! A COUPLE times in the past! LOL

It is very trashy and in my defense I did sort of skip some of the lesser signals before. (Figuring to do what I did today in the future sometime. :) )

Anyway, yeah, pretty neat!

Thanks!

Ok, OKAY!! I'm sorry! :(

I know, I did something against the credo. I actually "cleaned" a coin!!!!! OMG! :(

I apologize, I'll try not to let it happen again! ;)

Nice Whadifind. Every site I go to, I always end up by the biggest trees first!! Love huntin big trees...........................big roots, not so much, what a pain sometimes, but often worth the aggravation!!
