I found this buckle today in the parking lot of a hair salon. It is located in a very old town beside
a highway that has been around since colonial times. A historical marker is within eye sight of the old house and yard used as the salon. The buckle appears to be copper, it's paper thin and very fragile. I'm not suggesting that it's from that time period.
Does anyone have any ideas what it might have been used for and whether it's old or more modern? The buckle is about the same size as a Kennedy half dollar. Thanks!
