I really haven't posted much lately not because I haven't gone out hunting because I have I have been out at least 15 times in January... I'm just not finding much worth posting... It could be I am just hunting already hunted place... no new ones lately. Here are my January finds... well some of the better ones...

My best shaped dogtag I have found...

Before toothpaste was a paste it was a powder... this is for something called Ribbon Dental Paste... I assume its the first toothpaste

I found this in a lot that had 1940's houses in it... yes that is corrosion eating into the metal (I'm sad)

These cam from that yard where I had a record amounts of finds... 35+ wheats and 12 silver coins (no place is ever hunted out!) 1928 Buffalo (I think)

Just some silver and wheats I am at 4 silver coins and 14 wheats and one IH for the year.

Hey Chukers, looks like some neat stuff to me.

Here's a pic of a Ribbon Dental Cream tube I found recently. Late 30's to 40's

My daughter phoned from near Austin. It was 18 degrees farenheit there this morning, a new record. It was also 3 degrees here and it was 75 last Wednesday! Monty

ok its a bit nippy... got up to 15 today! low will be 11... now I know why you guys up north stop hunting in the winter... that ice is as hard as out summer time dirt is, I bet its harder!

Everything is ICE and SNOW here.... I have never seen it like this... for this long... 2 days and counting... expecting 2 more days of it!

mostly yards... vacant lots where houses used to be... yeah they are ok finds... nothing really outstanding... maybe I just been doing this too long and I'm used to finds like this LOL!

Great finds!

Here in N. AL we had 9" of snow a couple of weeks ago which is the most I've seen in my 46 years. It's a good thing Al Gore invented global warming or it might be REALLY cold this winter! :laughing9:

Yeah I heard they canceled the global warming meeting because of the weather...
 

I found one of those Colgate's Ribbon tokens in central PA about 1.5 years ago. I now live in TX too.
