No I don't clear the snow I detect above it when I get a hit I clear it.

The detector reads the same as if there was no snow.

Guess it would take time to find out the effects snow has on ones detector.
Depth, mystery signals, etc.

We got a good 2-3" of snow here in Indy today, Not too cold, 30 degrees , but the last time I went out in 27 degree weather I broke my dig'n khife... ... I think I'll stay in and bug you guys.

We have another 3" after lastnight. but Monday and Tuesday the temp is suppose to hover around 50.
So if it melts, maybe a can get a few housr in each day. Some maybe, just maybe I can get out again.

Can't post right now but it looks a lot like a Gator Digger- no teeth, slightly curved, about 12 in. long and beveled cutting surface on the three sides.
