It's Been A Long Time Since I Posted !! (Updated see post 7)

Ok, so its been a long time since I have posted on here because I just haven't had the time lately to find anything worth while to post. So the other day I was out in an area they are clearing out for a new highway. It was a spot I had my eye on for a while because there was only one clothes line pole. I knew there had to be another but there was this huge bush in the way and impossible to get under or around. So now it's gone and here are the two oddities that I found. If you can tell me what they are I would certainly appreciate it.

Thats what I thought it might be too .... it has two little holes where something rusted out like it was a pin or something.
