It's an anchor, but that's all I know
I was hoping someone might be able to identify this excavated (in RI) anchor. It's 62" tall, the larger hole is over 3.5" in diameter. I just recently moved to an oceanside locale and would like to learn more about not only the type and age of this anchor, but eventually about diving, shipwrecks, and metal detecting as well.
Thanks in advance for any help identifying this piece
