It's a silver day for Chug!
Hi everyone, Red here, hope you all had a safe and fun weekend with lots of great finds. We were lucky today as it was cloudy, but no rain, the only mishap was one of my boots, I ended up taping the toe together with the sole, and thought I had it taped up good enough, but no, I still got soaked.
Anyway, we hit the giving park first, it was so nice and quiet, not many people around, and the fall colors were spectacular!
For a long time, we had peace and solitude, only inturupted twice, both times by a transient asking Chug for a cigarette, in a raspy voice. He ignored her, even when she offered money, then, wouldn't you know it, she already had one! Then she didn't have a lighter, so Chug loaned it to her, you did your good deed for the day sweetie!
We headed to a new spot, I dug an old dime, when we first saw it, I was so ecited, I thought I had found my first rosie! I was in such high mood, til I cleaned it and sobbed, just a dime, oh well, I'll take it! Chug did much better, once again the giving park gave up a treasure! 
Yup, Chug hit silver again, with this beauty, the stone is onyx!
and the ring weighs 3.1 grams, WTG CHUG!!!
And what did Red find? 
and some clad too. After a few hours, we decided it was time to hit another park, but first Boots! Yep, nice new boots, and shoes for Chug, and socks for both, then......FOOD! Once we had full tummies and switched out our foot atire, we hot another park. We both found clad, especially Chug, it was fun hearing him say "penny" over and over again, then, wouldn't you know it, Chug got lucky again! 
he struck silver again, this one weighs in at a respectable 7.5 grams!
Chug kept hitting pocket spills, plus we kept finding clad that was freshly dropped, and according to one transient walking by Chug, he was dropping change for us to find, to see if our machines really worked!
ok.
It was time to go home once it cooled down, and clean up the goodies and count the clad for the day.
Oh, and before I forget, the chain Chug found today? Well, it's the second one out of the last park, and both have the same link pattern, one is just smaller than the other! 
Chug found the bigger one in June! He totally rocked it today, and we had a blast. There is nothing better than dirty muddy hands, the smell of fresh earth, the sun warm on your head, your best freind just a few feet away, it's heaven!
