If I had to venture a guess, it would be green floral transfer chinaware, probably a Stratford pattern from England.

Not to hy-jack the thread but why do so many broken dinnerware pieces show up so often and in so many odd places?

Well, in my case, there has been a lot of shipwrecks in the St Lawrence River. I have found many bits and pieces of plates over the years....
