Found this at the local park, 'bout a foot down. The center piece is plastic of some sort, I think.

Very cool find. It is likely to be of the Victorian era and the insert probably molded glass. Plastic, as we know it, hadn't yet been invented then.

Doubt it's that. The park was developed in '69, and the insert is definitely plastic. But as far down as it was, it was in the ground from before the park was installed.

I am. More so now that I'm getting used to it and how it acts and whatnot. I'm still experiencing a lot of high tones with low numbers, though.

The White's TRX, on the other hand, is getting on my nerves. So much falsing. Level 2 isn't enough and 3 is too high at times. It's really frustrating, if I'm being honest. I'd like to try out the Carrot and one of Xpointer models to see how they compare.
