it's a bling thing

...well, I mean I do know that it' a necklace BUT the "mark" escapes me.

It's so, so-- dainty, a happy beautiful necklace.

I looked thru 2 magnifying glasses to no avail...then asked hubby if he could read it...nope. So I'm hoping someone here is able to identify the designer/creator, artist.

Re: it's a bling thing

Both marks appear to say "Czechoslovakia" or at least that is what I am reading... Of course that nation ceased to exist since 1993 when it split into the Czech Republic, and the Slavak Republic. So at the very least you know it pre-dates 1993.

Does it have a clasp? If so, is there any hallmarks on that as well?

I think you got it taybai. 1918-1993.

"In 1918 the Czechs and Slovaks became united. They were freed from the rule of Austria and Hungary and the land in which they lived is now called Czechoslovkia. Prior to World War I, the jewelry from this area was called Bohemian and often not marked. After WW I, the jewelry was marked with Czecho-slovakia, Czechoslovakia or Made in Czechoslovakia".
