The weather was/is really sensational today, so I took my leave from the office and went to one of my favorite parks. First coin dug was a 1935 Merc! Later found an old pocket spill with 2 nickels (1962, 1963) and 5 wheats (1939-1955). Got a messed-up 1991 10 kopeks from the Soviet Union and a 1991 1000 pesos from Mexico, which almost gave me a heart attack at first because it's big, golden and heavy. Got a Sacagawea dollar, too, and a few other wheats, plus a good deal of clad. Also found the rusty old scissors, a AAA safety patrol badge, and 2 vintage pocket knives. The chain and cross are both marked sterling, and the cross is gold-plated as well. I found Nirvana, too! Oh, and a Jeepers token, which is some place in Michigan, apparently.

Next up on this beautiful day: Heading for Nationals Park to watch the Nats take on San Francisco.

Thanks for taking a look! Happy Hunting

Nice Hunt... Always nice to get away from the office anytime you can go detecting.

Great finds!

I can see why it's a favorite park. Lots of variety there.

Glad you were able to enjoy this beautiful day. I was sort of stuck inside today.

HH!

Nice variety of coins and other stuff, looks like great place to hunt

Thanks for all the nice comments. Also, an update: The Nationals defeated the Giants 6-5 in high style in a very exciting game. :hello2:

Thats what I would call a perfect day off.
If every day I took off was that good I would probably be forced to quit my job.
Good Luck!
