It was T Shirt Weather in Northern Claifornia...So I went Out & Dug Some Silver!

I hate to rub it in to all you guys in the mid west & east coast, but it was nearly 60 degrees here in northern California!
Had a great day hunting here. Dug up 4 silver dimes and a silver quarter! Also went home with 15 wheat pennies and 2
sterling silver rings! Worked two different spots, both were sloped areas. What is great is that I can go back and work
this area again. This spot should produce some more wheaties and silver when I return next weekend!

That tree looks pretty old,hot summer days a tree that large would give some serious shade....which would be a serious people magnet....which would seriously loose stuff....still wondering?

Lol I saw the tree but seems like that would not draw as much silver as you have found. Surely there would be more to the story. But I guess it could be. Mental note look for old trees!

Great finds. Send some of that 60 degree weather to the East coast please ! A balmy 30 here today but I did get out and managed a silver ring and two Buffalo nickels.

WOW!! I was jealous when I saw you were hunting in a T-shirt..and that was before I saw you dug a ton of silver everything! Awesome hunt, I have been out here in Ohio, at 30-35 degrees here the ground is not frozen yet but it sure is cold! Congrats on a great hunt, and I also dig the great pics and the play-by-play...thanks ddf

I wore three layers of sweat shirts, carharts and a downed vest, ski cap and two layers of socks with feet warmers and I was warm too. Congrats on a great sliver day.

Really exciting number of silvers - Nice to know that in a population dense area like that, there's still plenty to be found ! the stones
in that ring look like either moonstones or Labradorite to me - that other ring got rode hard and put away wet .
