How interesting. Someone named broken knee found a baby's leg. ;)

Nice variety!

HH!

Nice digs, BK. Love the print plate. No idea on the stone...was that a surface find?

Good finds!

broken head stone piece - my guess too
I have been to other fields that had tombstones by there edges

In earlier times, families in rural and semi-rural areas could legally bury their dead on their own property rather than in an "official" cemetery, so your stone could definitely be part of a headstone. Another possibility is a family's last name carved into the stone and placed at the edge of a home's driveway near its intersection with the street. You've found interesting variety at that location! I'm leaning towards head stone to.sweet finds

Cool finds! Wish I was able to make it out this weekend, but glad you were able to swing!

Hey BK, check out my weekend summary, I think I found the rest of the baby. lol

Chris and I were looking for you?

I tried to let chris know I wouldn't be able to make it out Saturday, but I was out with some co-workers in a loud environment, I don't think he could hear me. Did Chris find anything?

The inscription on the stone says "If you find body parts, drop in nearest mailbox, postage will be paid by the Broken Doll Club" .
