For those who have read my prior posts, you know that I have been hitting a grade school that is close to my home. Only go out for an hour or so each day, as it has been so d..n hot! Didn't get to go yesterday, as if finally rained. This school yard has been hit fairly hard in the last year, and good finds are rare. Last Wednesday night, went out for an hour and found a bunch of junk, some clad, and a nice 925 silver ring. Tonight I went back again, as I figured that the rain would help with the dry ground conditions, and found a bunch more clad, some junk, and a 10 Karat Gold Plated ring. Both rings were down about 3 inches, so they have been there for awhile. The gold ring has a D monogram on the front. Both are very small children's rings, but this is only the 3rd gold ring that I have found in the last year and a half. Old spots just keep on giving. I will be back to school tommorow. The total count of clad found in the last few days stands at $2.65.
