It was a crisp little silver.

Dropped over for a quick fix for 90 minutes.
The permissions told he just worked it the other day.

Few signals, just trying out a setting on the Deus ll.
This came up as a 74, I thought it was aluminum.
Even when I first saw it had the round button tab look.
Then looking closer I could see the rim.

It was in pretty good condition for wear, if it wasn't for the tear.

Dug a little lead something also.

That’s a fantastic coin..
Did there used to be homes ..etc in these fields many years ago
Thanks Bill
There was a barn in the upper left corner of the photo (buried under the dirt now)
One house that mirrored this 1860s home across the highway.
It was demolished back in the day for some reason. :dontknow:

Sweet looking silver. I kind of like the damage for whatever reason. Gives it character
I wish it was whole because it was so crisp.
Though it's still a cool recovery as there aren't many dug by my shovel.

It's about trime! :headbang: Congrats on that tiny hard to find coin. I've only dug one myself. It was right up next to an old oak tree where I've dug CW bullets and buttons in the past. I'm always amazed that they even produced a coin that small.
You would think they would have been dropped/lost quite a lot.
I'm drooling over that field. Looking forward to your next finds.

Going to a bean field for a short hunt.
