I decided to get out this afternoon for a quick hunt in a spot at the fort that I thought I hunted out. So I wasn?t expecting much other than the mosquitoes and yellow flies. About 5 minutes in I got a deep faint signal and I pulled out a a cuff sized artillery button with a Scovills back mark. About ten minutes later but just a few feet away I pulled out another artillery cuff button but I was surprised to see a back mark of United States on this one. As it started to lightly rain I went back to the truck to spray my arms and legs again with deep woods off. I quickly got back to my spot and it took about 15 minutes but pulled out this Artillery coat button with a back mark of circles and stars. The spot I?ve been digging was a 2 Seminole war artillery barracks. Thanks for looking!

Three early Artillery buttons in one hunt is something I would love to find. Heck, one early military button would make my day! Congrats on some very nice relics.

Great Button Saves!!!. Nice hunt and those flies are no joke...

Awesome haul!!! Congrats!!!

Those are some wonderful buttons! Cool that they have the A for artillery as well. Old military is always fun to dig!
