Hey friends. I hit a old site today that I haven't been able to hit since last year. Its where an old school once sat. the farmer who owns it finally cut the weeds and grass down enought for me to swing the coil a bit. My first hit was a 1944 mercury dime. I was siked that being my first of the day. as the day progressed it got hotter and the good finds became less so I called it a day. The had mowed a portion of the front yard area so I decided to hit there before I packed up for good. Well about 10 minutes into it I dug up something I never thought I would dig... a Brass butt. It is very heavy. I cant imagine what it weighed whole! Anyways just thought I would share that with ya lol. its definately going in my weird and wacky finds folder. good luck to all!!

I bet that brass butt was part of a beautiful statue at one time,
makes me wonder where the rest of it ended up.
