So, last night, I opened four boxes, found a total of four 40%'ers. I was ready to step it down a notch. So today, I remembered that I ordered a box from a different branch last week. So I go pick them up, right away I notice two enders. I immediately start finding silvers, and even a few with 2 in them (five rolls total had two in them). One roll even had three silvers in it. Total haul tonight was 24-40%'ers and 1 beautiful 1963 Franklin. For a total of 25 silver keepers. I also found a 1987 d that is in very good shape. It is amazing how one good box can bring your averages into a reasonable number. Also, in one of the boxes last night I found a 2005 S, cameo proof half. I will get pictures of these beautifuls specimans asap. I have a question for some of you "experts" though, I found a 1966half and It doesnt have the silver clad look on the edge, It is also a very different color than the others, very reflected but not cameo. Could this be a proof? There is no mint mark. If it is a proof, did any of the proofs have 90% silver besides 1964?
Thank you.
well, here is the pic. lol. I will have to figure out how to do this correctly... tomorrow.
