It sucks when...

Agree! but then is it REALLY hunted out? I thought so a fewtimes and then found something great!
Also, got to always have new places to go to. Not easy to set up new hunt locations, but that's the name of the game.

From.experience try another machine I thought the place near my home was out hunted but everytime I brought a new machine to the spot it became brand new again, can also be new again by changing coils aswell

Swinging for over a few hrs to realized you forgot to turn it on

lol iv forgot to set my sensitivity back up

Oh yeah you won't even find a piece of can out in the field I hunted at lol

My "Hunted" out spots have been producing me Buffalo Nicks about every time i go back..lol...But Yea, I totes know how that feels

There are so many variables that have to do with that. Bushes, edges, next to metal fences, parking lot, after a rain, going slower, different settings, better head phones, new machine, different coil, a good nights sleep, turn the volume up on your head phones, frost heaves, grid the area and work each section from different directions, etc!
Now get back there and find the gold and silver!

On my etrac I have the Sunray probe. Sometimes I accidentally hit the switch, or forget to switch it back, from the probe back to the main coil.... Frustrating!

I remember I used to have the same issue when I had my sunray on my v3i I'd switch it over to probe but I'd also forget to throw the machine itself into pinpoint mode so I'd be using the probe basically like a 1" metal detector

Like Christo said if you have another machine try it. Every machine detects just a lil different. Wait till next year if it is a park or playground it will replenish.
