Cleaning up and came across this mechanical device.
The front horizontal thing spins, which turns the vertical, which turns the big sprocket on the right of the drum.
That turns the drum ever so slowly. Didn't spin it long enough to see if the drum turned the smaller sprocket.
Maker is Helycot
Made in Canada
Any ideas?

The speed control/balancer thing has to spin a couple dozen times, for the drum to turn a 1/8"

The inside of an old wind-up Victrola record player. Inside the drums you will find springs. The three wights are for timing and will spin as the record plays. The pin in the last photo would stick through the wooden top and that is the pin the record would go on.
