Saw this sitting on a church thrift store shelf for $5. Flipped it over and saw the Griswold and knew it was mine. I've not found much info on this. Kind of a rare item I'm guessing. From the 20's I believe. Handle is wood. No cord but I don't think I should plug it in anway. Any info would be much appreciated...

HH All!

Very nice! I wouldn't hesitate plugging it in & using it! Why else have it? I want one that goes over the stove burner & you have to manually flip!

Thanks! I have one of the cast iron ones with the stand or heat ring or whatever its called. It's a Wagner Ware.

Griswold Co.made many things other than cast iron pans. Aluminum pans, mailboxes, gas eye burners, commercial cooking units and other things. I collect anything Griswold. Your find is a late 1940's to 1950's electric waffle maker.

Any idea what it could be worth? Are they collectable?

Thanks for the response. Age is everything in this game.
