It rained so I went thrift store hunting.

Thrift stores in my area yield very little, I think most have "arrangements" so the good stuff never reaches the store shelves. The one exception is books. I've found many that were very profitable.

The Flagship titled book above is a Navy Cruise Book. These are very collectable and bring good money on Ebay. They were made by the same companies that make High School yearbooks and look very simular. A great item to look for at both thrift stores and garage sales. I've picked up three in the last six months at $1.00 each and have gotten over $45 for each one.

The 6th fleet is in the Mediterranean your book is probably from the early to middle 70's

I was in the navy (Viet Nam from 1969 -1972) most of the time I was the ships photographer and my main duty was to produce the cruise book. Great duty, I was my own boss most of the time :wink:. (it was still the navy)
