....went to the antique shop. As you may know, I'm vacationing in Virginia. Well, surrounded by walls clad in expensive civil war relics, i took a look at some Nice uncirculated mercs. It didn't seem like a good deal at $18, but then, i noticed that one of them had a very large die crack on the back. The guy obviously didn't know about it and priced it like the others. So now, i have a MS-60 (i think) W mint mark die crack error 1945 merc. I'm not sure what it would be worth (not my area of expertise).
On a different note- i will be getting up at sunrise to MD Virgina beach....wish me luck!
