Nice find. It does pay to check the book section. Also look for signed books. I was at an estate sale and things were too high end and high priced for me. I was pretty far back in line anyway so I figured the good stuff would be gone. Checked the book section. Hard backs $3. Found "My Life" by Bill Clinton. It was signed and had a receipt where it was purchased from the gift shop in Chappaqua so i figured it was real. My only purchase. Walked away happy that day.
I've never had a huge score, but I have had several in the $75 range. I thought I hit the jackpot about two months ago. Came across a copy of Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings "South Moon Under". It was her first published novel. I was excited for about 30 seconds, but unfortunately it wasn't the first edition I was hoping for.
