It isn't much, but it's shiny

My coin book has plenty of free space on my quarter page. Only my 2nd silver one since last May. Pulled this one in an old park last night at about 7" along with some clad. It's always amazing to me how much better the old silver looks compared to new clad after it's been in the dirt for over half a century or longer.

Point of interest: I stood up from digging this one to see a cop slowly rolling toward me. Thought for sure I was going to have a conversation but he just nodded and kept on rolling. Not sure if it was related to the couple I had seen earlier in the evening who were giving me crap for "messing up the grass" (as they pointed to what was obviously an animal burrow)....

Quarters considered a "Big" silver out here now !! :occasion14: Last year my biggest silver coinage was dimes. Have to beat that this year :BangHead: you would think that should be an easy goal :metaldetector:
