got home from work and tested the ground. It is a go good enough to detect. May be a little wet and muddy but so what dirt can not hunt you. I will be heading to Toledo tomorrow have 3 house where I can detect. Then Sunday will be heading out to Elkhart, IN to meet Fred know as SurgTech57 here on Tnet. Hope to make a new detecting buddy really hate hunting alone. Will let you all know if I do any good.....Matt

SW Ohio fully agrees!
Rained all day, and will continue till morning.
Mud be ready!

Peace ✌

I am in NE Ohio. I am planning on getting out tomorrow. Lots of puddles everywhere today. Thought I'd let some of the rain run off and drain. This will be the first hunt since Jan 10th. Can't wait. I have 3 properties lined up.

Get some detecting in while the ground is good and wet. Wet soil is the best , plus....after the frost heave many tagets the detector might not have hit on last summer may be in reach now , atleast until the ground dries and settles back. Now is the time to hit some of those spots you though you hunted out last summer.
