We live on a state highway near the intersection of a county road. Tonight when letting the dogs out before bed, I found a small kitten, probably 8 weeks old in the front yard. Over the years people have abandoned innumerable small puppies and kittens to die from starvation on our county road. After feeding and watering her and getting her bedded down for the night i just had to post and remind people it is a crime of animal cruelty in most states to do this. In Oklahoma it is a Felony!!. This really pisses me off that people can dump innocent young animals to starvation or death by wild animal attack or to be hit and killed by a vehicle. They don't have to watch it happen so their cowardly act is soon forgotten by them. There are lots of resources available making dumping unnecessary. DON'T DO IT
