Live has been pretty busy the past years finally I retired a few years back. Over the past year I have gone out only a few times. However, it was not for a lost effort.
I found a diamond/ruby platinum ring, a 4-caret diamond ring in 18 caret gold, a quartz rock with about 3 grams of gold, a silver spoon and an arrowhead found near the spoon on top the ground.

I guess sometimes it is better to be lucky than good. I am using an old bounty hunter 505 maybe an upgrade this year is in the future. A friend has some property that bordered a confederate prison camp and I have permission to do some detecting there.
