A 1,000-year-old silver ingot found by a metal detectorist is of "real importance" in understanding the Viking period on the Isle of Man, a heritage organisation has said.

Interesting for me, where I live, the laws are more restrictive and unusable,
while in the UK and parts of Europe, at least, have few laws - that WORK,
where the Finder of Treasure, gets REWARDED....!
 

To me it look like a piece of rusted iron with a drop of silver on it? Not a typical looking image of a silver ingot.
