Was there in 1994 with a Fisher underwater detector, working the shallow
waters (20 to 30 feet). Three days & not even a fish hook or lead sinker.
Kept swepting the coil over my knife to make sure the detector was working.
Never tried the beaches, (most are private)
Very friendly people, but don't get too friendly with the younger crowd there;
you will find some of your gear missing.
